The thing is, I haven't really felt like I've had much to blog about. I used to write about beauty and fashion and although I haven't lost my passion for either of those things, I feel like the blogosphere is saturated by people who do it so much better than me.
Not that this time is going to be any different.
I thought I'd try something new, something that I am incredibly passionate about at the moment, something I feel there is never too much of, something that will be a long running project for me.
We've purchased a new house.
Well, I'm jumping the gun a bit - we've put an offer on a house and it's been accepted. What?! No one EVER accepts our offers! We've always just missed out by $2000 or a property has gone Under Offer half an hour before we enquired.
We still have to sell our current house, have finance officially approved, get a satisfactory building and pest inspection done and a million other things before we can officially say "we've bought a new house".
But, you know. I'm excited :)
There's a lot of work I want to do to the new place (if indeed, it ends up being ours) and I thought someone somewhere out there on the interwebz might find something we do helpful.
